Felony Unit
The Felony Unit of the District Attorney’s Office consists of experienced attorneys who prosecute all general adult felony cases that occur within Webb and Zapata Counties.
The types of felony cases prosecuted by the Unit include murder, attempted murder, assault, arson, robbery, burglary, and white collar crimes.
The Assistant District Attorneys assigned to the Felony Unit handle cases in the 49th, 341st, 406th and 111th District Courts. They work in conjunction with senior level investigators who are sworn peace officers that are responsible for investigating cases, collecting evidence and assisting with trial preparation.
